Zone: Putxet Farró
This district of Sarriá – Sant Gervasi is almost entirely residential. Previously they were two separate neighborhoods, which makes that at the present time, these two areas of the neighborhood are differentiated with facility. Putxet is located on a small hill, which bears that name, where the Catalan bourgeoisie of the nineteenth century built their spectacular summer houses. On the other hand, the Farró at a lower altitude and under Ronda General Mitre, is urbanized by townhouses.
The Putxet is the third most expensive neighborhood in the city of Barcelona, where you can find interesting private houses with gardens. The streets are irregular because of the hill where it is located, and as it goes down the hill, and up to the limit with Ronda General Mitre, the constructions are of medium height blocks of apartments. El Farró is characterized by low, terraced houses, some with interior patios and some houses from the modernist era.
Most of this quiet neighborhood is surrounded by nature and away from the noise of the city.
Putxet i El Farró is a fantastic neighborhood if you want to live in a house in a natural and quiet environment but being inside the city, in a prestigious and ideal neighborhood for family life, where old villas or mansions and houses of the latest design coexist to choose from.
