This work of art, located in the heart of Ciutat Vella, was born at the end of the medieval period with the commercial expansion of the city. A mansion that explains the history of old Barcelona and that today becomes one of the oldest residences and one of the few that preserves with devotion its original details.
The renovation of the district of Ciutat Vella, the revalorization of urban spaces, the rebirth of the real estate sector, and the singular character are just some of the reasons that have led to a meticulous rehabilitation of this small palace. Its recovery has been carried out with rigor and respecting the original details of the building but without neglecting the spirit of modernity linked to the comfort and warmth of the materials. In this way, and thanks to its ostentatious wealth, this stately mansion becomes an icon of luxury and art.
Their new owners could not resist this manor house with a duplex character. It was decorated with an exquisite contemporary design where the vision of the artist Sonia Bermudez highlights. With her painting and her style, she transformed this extraordinary home into a perfect symbiosis between history, roots, art, philosophy and architecture. According to her comments: “The duplex gives off an intense energy due to the antiquity of its history, walls and the memories of the many people who have been born and lived here. Although what we emphasize is, without a doubt, the tranquility and the absolute peace that you can breathe”.
